Governor Wolf signed HB 2536 into law as Act No. 114 of 2020 on November 23, 2020, that, among other things, modifies the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act. Details on how the Act is to be implemented will be determined by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. In general, the steps toward implementation will include: a Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission Tentative Implementation Order that seeks stakeholder comments and then a Final Implementation Order. We will post updates on the Commission’s actions related to the implementation of Act No. 114 of 2020 as they become available from the Commission.
