On December 21, 2017, The Pennsylvania PUC approved a Tentative Implementation Order to the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act 40 of 2017 (Docket No.: M-2017-2631527). The PUC's press release with links to the Order can be found here.
Due to the pending uncertainty as to the exact implementation of the solar provisions of Act 40 of 2017, notwithstanding the anticipated tentative and final implementation orders to be issued by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC), the PUC staff has requested PennAEPS temporarily halt the review of all certification requests for solar photovoltaic generation

Pennsylvania Governor Wolf signed HB118 into law as Act No. 40 of 2017 on October, 30,2017, that, among other things, modifies the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act. Details on how the Act is to be implemented will be determined by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.
