Next Steps after Application Submission

Step 1

Review submitted information

Once an application has been submitted, we will review the information provided for qualification and accuracy. Our review will occur within 30 days of your submission. If more information is needed, we will send an email request. Please respond directly to the email with the needed information.

Step 2

Receive Certification Number & More Info

Upon completion and full review, the facility will be approved/denied and you will receive an email notification. If the facility has been approved the notification will contain the certification number as well as the information needed to register the facility with the tracking registry, PJM GATS.

  • Please be aware that the certification start date for AECs is the date the fully completed application was submitted to PA AEPS.
  • Please contact the PA AEPS Program Administrator if any of the facility information is incorrect.

Step 3

Register in PJM GATS Registry

Upon receipt of the certification email, the facility may be registered on the PJM GATS registry where credits are issued, tracked and traded. The website for GATS is http://www.pjm-eis.com/.

If there are any changes to the system in the future (i.e. changes in the capacity, meter swap-out, changes in contractual relationship with an aggregator, or change in ownership) please contact the PA AEPS Program Administrator.
